Our Story
Meet Sarah, the mastermind behind our incredible beef tallow balm. This whole journey started when Sarah was making and selling tallow balms to friends and family, and let’s just say, they were obsessed —especially me, Braci! This was the highest quality tallow I could find—no weird texture, no funky beef smell, just pure, skin-loving magic.
But life got busy, and Sarah had to hit pause. I panicked (because, duh, I needed more tallow balm!), and that’s when we decided we had to share this amazing product with the world.
The story behind our balm? It’s all thanks to Sarah’s little one, Sylvie. Sylvie’s cradle cap inspired Sarah and her husband to experiment with their homemade cooking tallow. After some trial and error (and a little beef fat almost going on Sylvie’s head!), they discovered the incredible benefits of tallow for skin. The result? Our first batch of tallow balm, and the rest is history.

Right now, we’re all about our tallow balm and sun balm, but trust us, there’s more to come!
Why Tallow?
Tallow is as natural as it gets—seriously, it’s been used since Egyptian times. Our process starts with beef suet, the nutrient-dense fat located by the kidneys of grass-fed cows from local farms. These cows are often butchered just days before we receive the suet, ensuring the freshest ingredients. Once the suet is in our hands, we grind it down and begin the process of wet rendering. This step purifies the tallow and removes the beef smell, leaving behind a clean, nourishing base ready to be turned into skincare magic.
The result? Tallow that mimics our skin cells, heals like a dream, and nourishes without any of the harmful junk you’ll find in conventional skincare. Plus, we’re all about sustainability. Our tallow balms are packaged in eco-friendly, reusable glass jars, making them good for you and the planet.
